That really is inspiring.  I think the first - “Skill is only developed by hours and hours and hours of beating on your craft.” - is the most widely ignored one of all.  People &lt;em&gt;like&lt;/em&gt; to believe in geniuses and talent, but both of those notions are fallacies.  Any &quot;genius&quot; is just someone who&#039;s invested a crazy amount of time into perfect their art.

I think the last is also very profound - so often people go around trying to get one up on other people, or exact revenge.  It truly is a waste of time.

Thanks very much for posting that - it&#039;s wonderful to see someone so famous speak so passionately and inspirationally.</description>
